Services: To provide food for those in need in Somerville. 1. Emergency Food Pantry provides emergency food for families in need. 2. Community Suppers: Serves free suppers three times weekly.
Clients: Families and Individuals (Somerville residents only.)
Size: Staff of 2 with 20 volunteers.
Donations: Canned goods: Tuna, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauces and soups. Food for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets.
Volunteers: For The Community Pantry: Mon-Fri. 10-4. Suppers: Mon., Weds., Thurs. 4-6.
Duties: Community Pantry Bagging food, stocking shelves. Suppers: set up, serving food, clean up.
Requirements: 14 years of age or older.
Drop-off Time: Monday through Friday 10:00 to 4:00 pm.
